Personal French Cell Phones

Your French Barge Lorraine has a limited number of French Mobile Telephones on board which can be rented for the exclusive use of passengers who feel the need of constant contact with home or office.   In France all incoming calls are free, i,e, there are no minute penalties for incoming calls.   Out going calls are charged for. 

The cell phones available for rental are the rechargeable type.  You will be able to purchase minutes from the crew on board at the rates charged by the phone company.  The cost to rent one of these telephones for a week is $35.

Note--there are places along our routes where cell phone service may not be available

.Onboard Laptop Computer.

Lorraine will provide clients with an onboard laptop computer to use in getting personal / business emails. This computer uses cell phone technology and is not intended to be used for playing internet games or surfing the internet.   A small charge will be levied to cover our cost of providing this service.
